Job Description

The Manager/Senior Manager, Corporate Systems is responsible for the governance, delivery, enhancement, and support of enterprise SaaS platforms and bespoke applications supporting corporate functions within PSA Corporate Centre, with solutions deployed across global business units where applicable. The role ensures secure, reliable, and business-aligned technology services through effective stakeholder engagement, vendor management, project delivery, and IT governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application & Vendor Management
  • Govern the lifecycle of SaaS platforms and bespoke applications, including onboarding, enhancement, upgrades, renewals, and retirement.
  • Accountable for the end-to-end management of bespoke enterprise applications, including vendor-led development, application support, systems integration, technical debt management, and modernisation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain application portfolio strategies and roadmaps to ensure alignment with business priorities, technology direction, vendor product lifecycles, and organisational objectives.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including budgeting, business case development, tendering, vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, renewals, and ongoing service governance.
  • Lead budget planning and financial governance for the application portfolio, including investment planning, business case development, funding justification, budget submissions, expenditure management, forecasting, benefits realisation tracking, and optimisation of technology spend across applications and services.
  • Manage vendor performance, service delivery, SLA compliance, and operational outcomes.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to prioritise initiatives and align technology services with business objectives.
  • Oversee application development, enhancement, support, and maintenance activities delivered by vendors and technical teams.
  • Review functional specifications, solution designs, integrations, and technical architecture to ensure scalability, security, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Manage releases, testing, deployment, documentation, and operational readiness.
  • Drive platform modernisation and technical debt reduction initiatives.
  • IT Governance, Cybersecurity & Risk Management
  • Ensure systems comply with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, risk, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate security assessments, risk reviews, vulnerability remediation, audit activities, and compliance reviews.
  • Review security assurance artefacts including SOC reports, certifications, penetration testing reports, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain governance documentation and ensure timely approval and closure of identified risks and findings.
  • Project Delivery & Business Partnership
  • Act as a trusted technology advisor to business stakeholders.
  • Lead vendor-driven implementations, application enhancements, and development initiatives from requirements through deployment and transition to operations.
  • Coordinate business users, vendors, and internal IT teams to manage dependencies and ensure successful delivery.
  • Align project scope, budgets, procurement activities, and implementation plans with stakeholders.
  • Support enterprise digitalisation and transformation initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Govern operational support services including incident, problem, change, and access management.
  • Ensure reliable and secure service delivery across applications and platforms.
  • Drive process optimisation, automation, service improvements, and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Support modernisation and transition initiatives for legacy platforms where appropriate.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance oversight for internal staff, managed service resources, and project teams supporting the application portfolio.
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience vein enterprise application management, SaaS platforms, vendor management, procurement, project delivery, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement, preferably supporting Corporate or Shared Services functions
