Job Description

As a Manager / Senior Manager, Procurement, you will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end procurement operations of the organisation. The role involves working closely with stakeholders across departments to drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedure, and deliver value creation across all procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to drive best‑value and effective sourcing outcomes that support the organisation's strategic objectives, while ensuring compliance with established procurement policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and review tender documentation for approvals relating to purchase requirements definition, publication, evaluation, award, and post‑contract management.
  • Engage stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements and provide professional advice and guidance on procurement activities.
  • Develop appropriate sourcing and contractual strategies supported by data analytics, spend analysis and market research.
  • Review, strengthen, and continuously improve internal procurement processes to enhance operational efficiency and end‑user experience.
  • Develop procurement‑related training materials and conduct training sessions for stakeholders, as required.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors on procurement‑related audits and ensure timely resolution of audit matters.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Head of Procurement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least five (5) years of relevant working experience in procurement.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Demonstrates sound critical thinking, resourcefulness, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
  • A good understanding of Government Procurement policies and contractual terms will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with e‑procurement systems such as Workday and TenderBoard will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
