What the role is
The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) creates sustainable economic growth, with vibrant business and good job opportunities for Singapore. We do this by attracting foreign direct investments from leading multinational companies, in alignment with our industry development plans.
The Hub Strategy division develops and executes strategies to strengthen Singapore's position as a global hub in Southeast Asia by
. Attracting global and regional headquarters of MNCs
. Facilitating international organisations (IOs) that support industry development and
. Enhancing Singapore's air, land and sea connectivity.
You will join Hub Strategy with a focus on headquarters strategy, with exposure to international organisations and connectivity work.
The work spans strategy formulation, data analysis, value proposition development, programme development and execution, and close engagement with senior stakeholders across the public and private sectors.
You will be expected to own workstreams end-to-end, take initiatives, and exercise peer leadership in inter-divisional and inter-agency working groups.

[What we are looking for]
Core requirements
- At least 3 years of work experience in:
- Strategy roles in MNC headquarters
- Client-facing roles in consulting, professional services, or advisory firms
- Strategy, policy, or industry development roles in public sector agencies.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking - able to think big picture, analyse and communicate complex / ambiguous issues clearly and simply, use qualitative and quantitative data, and recommend actionable solutions
- Excellent project management and leadership skills - able to lead cross-functional projects, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver outcomes effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Adaptable - able toidentifyand respond quickly to changes in the business environment and changes in priorities.
- Good team player and an independent thinker
