Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead and support operations excellence initiatives by applying structured problemsolving, Lean methodologies, and data analytics to address complex operational challenges. You will own decisions and outcomes by translating data into actionable insights that drive measurable performance improvements.
Process flow and value stream methodologies will be used to develop swim lane diagrams that accurately visualise endtoend, asis operations and identify improvement opportunities across cost, quality, delivery, and productivity. You will contribute to continuous improvement and breakthrough operational outcomes while building deep capability through handson project work, mentoring, and formal training.
Your Mission Would Be To
- Deliver cost savings: Identify, prioritize, and implement costsaving initiatives with business units and countries, achieving yearonyear productivity or cost improvement targets.
- Improve process efficiency: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and wasteelimination methodologies to deliver cycletime reduction, throughput improvement, or defect reduction across priority processes.
- Datadriven execution: Use productivity metrics and operational data to identify improvement opportunities, track benefits realization, and report outcomes.
- Operational diagnostics: Lead deepdive analyses to identify root causes of performance gaps and translate findings into implemented, measurable improvements.
- Enterprise CI program: Design, deploy, and embed a groupwide Operational Excellence framework, ensuring adoption, governance, and sustained results.
- Standardization & best practices: Define and scale common standards, best practices, and CI toolkits across operations.
- Service level improvement: Improve service quality and reliability to increase customer satisfaction scores and support business growth.
- Capability building: Develop a pipeline of trained CI practitioners across functions and regions (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma certification, coaching, and onthejob projects).
- Culture of continuous improvement: Foster a growth mindset by challenging the status quo, encouraging problemsolving, and promoting employee ownership of processes.
Key Requirements
- Master / Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science or relevant discipline
- 8 years of experience in an operations related field and/or process engineering
- Well versed in the application of Lean Management, Six Sigma, Value-Stream Mapping and/or other Operations Excellence tools (certified Six-Sigma Green Belt or higher is preferred)
- Experience in conceptualisation and roll-out of company-wide Operations Excellence programs
- Knowledge of either processing/manufacturing/aviation/food-catering industry will be advantageous
- A team player with high Initiative, demonstrated planning skills, strong data-driven analytical abilities and proven performance in operation problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively across functional teams and at multiple levels within the organization
- Proven organizational and leadership skills to motivate and influence others positively to drive for results
- Ability to build strong relationships and partner with key stakeholders to build trust and influence at multiple levels within the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Versatile & organized
