MANAGER / SENIOR MANAGER COLORIST

JOB TITLE : MANAGER / SENIOR MANAGER – COLORIST

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

•Assess lab dips and bulk shade bands visually and under light box; approve or comment.

•Manage colour standards and submission cycles with mills and the brand.

•Advise PD and Bulk teams on construction, finish and test failures.

•Resolve shade variation and shade-band issues in bulk with mills and QA.

•Maintain the colour and test approval tracker with the data entry support.

•Open to travel to mills across globe for alignment purpose.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

•Bachelor's/Diploma in Textile Chemistry / Textile Technology.

•10 to 15 years in colour approval, dyeing house or fabric lab for apparel brands.

•Passed colour-vision test (e.g, Ishihara / FM-100).d.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

•Sharp colour eye; detail-obsessed.

•Quick turnaround on approvals.

•Clear communicator with mills.

COMPETENCIES

•Strong knowledge of colour management systems, including spectrophotometers, Natific, and Data color.

•Sound technical knowledge of fabrics.

•Strong quality assessment and judgement skills.

•Effective cross-functional collaboration and support.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

•Lab dip and shade evaluation; light sources (D65, TL84, CWF/U35).

•Fabric testing standards (ISO / AATCC) and adidas restricted-substance and quality requirements.

•Dyeing and finishing processes for knits, wovens and denim.
