What The Role Is

As Singapore's population ages and care needs are becoming more common in the community and social settings, there is a need for Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) to be more versatile, working more collaboratively across professions to deliver care holistically.

The jobholder is part of Chief Allied Health Officer's Office (CAHOO) - a dynamic team that works with service and policy lead divisions and other stakeholders to implement initiatives for the Ministry's efforts in transforming the care provided by AHPs. This includes transforming the AHP workforce through professional development and advancement of care standards to meet national needs.

You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time

What You Will Be Working On

  • Review and formulate initiatives to drive the strategic objectives of the Chief Allied Health Officer's Office and MOH in enabling all Singaporeans to have timely access to the right level of care delivered by AHPs at an appropriate setting.
  • Work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to develop the implementation plans and enablers for the initiatives to transform care delivered by AHPs.
  • Monitor the outcomes and progress of the proposed initiatives.

What We Are Looking For


  • Tertiary education, preferably in health, social sciences, public policy, or public administration
  • Experience in hospital, community service providers or with allied health professionals is an advantage, but not required
  • Project management skills is an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills to handle internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to work independently and as a team to see through projects to completion
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Display initiative
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and welcome challenges
