The Mission

Klook's app is at the centre of how millions of travellers discover, plan, and book experiences around the world. In this role, you will own how we scale app growth. From acquiring high-value users to strengthening app-first optimisation and measurement systems with our data science teams that power long-term impact.

This role goes beyond running campaigns. You will be a trusted contributor to app growth decision-making, shaping, measuring, and optimising performance in a privacy-first world. This includes hands-on management of key paid app advertising channels, as we test, learn, and scale new and evolving app-first ad formats globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own app growth across mobile DSPs, Google App Campaigns (UAC), and app-store channels, including partner qualification, scaling, and ongoing optimisation.
  • Drive high-quality user acquisition and retention through install- and event-based optimisation frameworks.
  • Test and scale DSP-native and app-first formats, including OEM inventory, VBO, AEO, and emerging optimisation models.
  • Own app intelligence and measurement, translating install, event, and value signals into clear optimisation and investment decisions.
  • Own MMP, SKAN, ASO, and ASA incrementality frameworks to strengthen app measurement, efficiency, and learning.
  • Define and run disciplined experiments with clear success metrics and stop-loss criteria.
  • Set and uphold high operational standards, building repeatable app-first optimisation playbooks and best practices.

The Must-Haves

  • 6+ years of experience in app growth, user acquisition, or performance marketing, with direct, hands-on ownership of UA media buying across mobile DSPs and app-first channels.
  • Strong expertise in MMPs (e.g. AppsFlyer, Adjust) and app attribution across iOS and Android.
  • Proven experience qualifying, onboarding, and scaling mobile DSP partners, including OEM-focused and app-first platforms.
  • Deep understanding of SKAN, privacy-led measurement, and post-install optimisation.
  • High bar for execution, experimentation, and operational excellence.

The Ideal Candidate (Hard Skills & Tech Stack)

  • Proven track record scaling app growth for high-volume consumer apps, ideally within travel, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms.
  • Strong capability optimising for user quality and LTV, using app-first optimisation models such as AEO and VBO to guide execution and scaling decisions.
  • Working fluency in app intelligence concepts, including MAU, DAU, retention cohorts, and post-install value signals, and how these inform UA strategy and trade-offs.
  • Hands-on ownership of UA execution, with a clear understanding of how acquisition choices impact downstream retention, engagement, and long-term value.
  • Practical exposure across mobile DSPs, Google App Campaigns (UAC), and app-store levers such as ASA and ASO.
  • Comfortable partnering with data science, analytics, CRM, and engineering teams to improve app-first optimisation, measurement quality, and learning velocity.
  • Proven ability to operate across multiple markets with differing user behaviours, data maturity, and privacy constraints.

Extra points if you've scaled app growth in high-volume, multi-market consumer apps (travel, e-commerce, marketplaces).
