What You Will Be Working On
As a member of the Airport Planning, Design & Engineering team within CAAS Airport Development & Planning (ADP) Division, you will be involved in the oversight of the planning of infrastructure in Changi and Seletar Airports. To this end, you will:
- Support senior officers and work closely with the airport operator and key stakeholders in the aviation community, government agencies, and/or consultants to review airport land use planning and related proposals, as well as ensure proper project planning, management and timely completion of airport infrastructure design development studies.
- Participate in the review of specific areas of airport infrastructure design, e.g. passenger terminal building, apron/aircraft manoeuvring area, automated passenger mover system, baggage handling system, ground transport facilities, etc.
You may also be required to carry out procurement/management of consultancy services to support CAAS in planning/design review(s) .
What We Are Looking For
- Trained in Engineering or relevant qualification related to planning/development
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Self-motivated, driven, resourceful, a good team player and ability to multi-task
- Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills
- Prior airport/airfield related experience and/or planning of infrastructure projects will be an advantage
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS and/or BIM will be an advantage
Note: Your appointment designation will be commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
