Your new role
As the Risk & Compliance Manager, you will take the lead in developing, implementing, and shaping the regulatory and risk framework for the firm's Singapore office during an exciting period of strategic expansion. This is a highly influential role where you will architect endtoend compliance programs, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and act as the key liaison with regulators and auditors. You will drive critical compliance initiatives-from MAS regulatory assessments to AML/CFT execution-while also supporting enterprise-wide risk management functions across operational, outsourcing, thirdparty, and data governance domains. Your role will involve balancing handson execution with strategic advisory responsibilities, ensuring the regional business operates with a robust control environment that aligns with global standards. With significant exposure to senior leadership and cross-border teams, this role offers the opportunity to build, influence, and elevate the organisation's presence in the APAC region.
What you'll need to succeed
In order for you to succeed in this position, you will have:
6-8 years experience in compliance, risk management, AML, or financial crime
Background in asset management, fund administration, family offices, multi-manager platforms, custodians, or risk advisory preferred
Strong exposure to MAS regulations, including SFA/FAA, licensing requirements, AML/CFT frameworks, and compliance programs
Solid understanding of capital markets, investment processes, and risk concepts
Experience with outsourcing arrangements, vendor due diligence, and cross-border operating models
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
The ability to work independently
