Job Description

Job Description & Requirements:-

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution of M&E works.
  • Site Management: Oversee daily site activities, ensuring that M&E installations are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Address any non-conformance issues promptly.
  • Safety Management: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on-site. Conduct safety briefings and ensure that all personnel are equipped with necessary safety gear.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, site instructions, and variations. Prepare and submit progress claims and reports to clients and management.
  • Resource Management: Manage manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize productivity and minimize wastage.
  • Plan and manage construction projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and procurement.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee on-site operations to ensure work is completed to specification, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and payment applications.
  • Track costs and financial performance, prepare project reports and updates for stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and enforce quality assurance procedures.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the construction process.
  • Maintain clear and organized project documentation and records.
  • Assign resources to deliver the works within budget, time, quality and regulatory standards, monitor and guide workflow, setting daily, weekly and long-term project goals.
  • Manage the specialist functions of design, engineering, procurement and construction, manage the interaction of various disciplines and multiple work streams.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with company's polices, processes, systems, reporting and procedures.
  • Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocations and procurement strategies.
  • Coordinate and oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
  • Evaluate and select contractors and subcontractors based on qualifications, experience and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors, such as Consultants and Sub-Contractors/Suppliers for the flawless execution of the project
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Responsible for all construction site matters including and not limited safety and other compliance maters
  • Ensure project to be delivered on time, within scope and budget
  • Ensure efficient operations and workflow throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to all the team members.
  • Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance and investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance. Provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement.
