General Manager

Essential duties and responsibilities:

. Provide inspired leadership for the organization in setting goals that promote company growth.

. Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.

. Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.

. Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.

. Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.

. Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.

. Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

. Work with the board of directors to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.

. Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.

. Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.

. Support worker communication with the management team.

. Oversees daily activity of the team

. Prepares budgets, schedules, and other organisational reports as needed

. Provides advice and guidance to other employees

. Manages team workloads in order to meet goals and deadlines

. Develops plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs

. Improves existing systems and policies

. Ensures customer requirements are met in a timely manner

. Promotes and enforces safety in the workplace

. Identifies improvement areas and plans and implements systems to boost company effectiveness

. Manages internal and external service suppliers

. Executes plans designed to meet company goals by changing policies and coaching employees.

Operations Manager Requirements:

. Thorough knowledge of the elevator industry and general management methods within the elevator industry

. Bachelor's degree with operations management experiences and strong technical knowledge. Five years experience in managing operations

. Experience in management, operations, and leadership.

. Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
