Role Overview

The Manager, Partnership Engagement (Stakeholder Engagement) will be part of a pioneering team tasked with shaping The Kallang Group's philanthropic journey. The role will play a key part in mobilising partnerships, philanthropy and community support to create sustainable and meaningful social impact. Through strategic stakeholder engagement, fundraising and collaborative programme development, the Manager will help expand opportunities to support youths, foster greater inclusion, and improve community well-being by harnessing the power of sport and targeted CSR initiatives.

Key aspects of this role include donor engagement, fundraising execution, stewardship and compliance, ensuring donors are supported in directing their giving towards eligible community and social impact initiatives delivered across The Kallang Group's venues and programmes.

Reporting to the Head (Partnership Engagement), you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

Community Fund Management

  • Manage the administration and operations of the Community Fund in accordance with approved governance and policies.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for fund donors, supporting fund establishment, contributions, programmes assessment and grant recommendations.
  • Coordinate donor recommendations with programme teams and the fund approval committee.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor contributions, fund balances, disbursements and reporting.

Fundraising & Donor Engagement

  • Execute annual fundraising plans to grow the fund through individual, partner and corporate giving.
  • Identify, cultivate and steward prospective and existing donors, including high-net-worth individuals and corporate partners.
  • Support the development of donor offerings such as named funds, thematic funds and event-linked giving opportunities.
  • Work closely with corporate stakeholders to integrate philanthropic initiatives into annual partnership strategies, fostering long-term support for community and social impact programmes.

Campaigns & Event-Linked Giving

  • Deliver fundraising initiatives linked to events and venue activations.
  • Manage fundraising activities such as charity matches, auctions, cause-related marketing and point-of-sale or digital giving.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications team to promote giving opportunities and donor impact stories.

Governance, Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all fundraising activities comply with applicable Singapore regulations, including:
  • Charity and fundraising regulations
  • Tax-deductibility and donor acknowledgement requirements
  • Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)
  • Prepare donor statements, grant summaries and impact reports for both internal and external reporting.
  • Support audits, internal controls and reporting to management and the fund governing committee.

Community Impact Coordination

  • Work with internal programme and operations teams to identify eligible initiatives for fund support.
  • Monitor funded programmes to ensure alignment with donor intent and approved objectives.
  • Collect impact data, case studies and outcomes for reporting to donors and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Non-Profit Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–7 years experience with demonstrated success in corporate fundraising, donor relations and management, philanthropy, partnerships or sponsorship and Foundation/grant management.
  • Prior experience working with donor-advised fund, Foundations or grant-making structures is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, cultural, non-profit organisations/Foundations or purpose-driven corporate organisations is an advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Self-starter, adaptable to change, and able to work under pressure and to meet tight timelines.
  • High level of integrity, discretion and accountability.
