[What the role is]
You will be part of a dynamic team at the Media Capability Development Division, that conceptualises and implements strategies to increase the adoption of emerging technologies e.g. Virtual Production, Generative AI in Media Industry. The will ensure that Singapores Media Industry leverages latest tech to remain competitive, able to respond to evolving media landscape and produce commercially successful IPs. This role will support IMDAs mission as the Architect of Singapores Digital Future.
[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement programmes that will improve capabilities of media companies and talent, particularly use of Technology in Media (e.g. Virtual Production, Generative AI). This includes:
- Conceptualize and ideate potential strategies to upskill local media companies and talent with new capabilities to remain relevant and competitive.
- Conduct desktop / market research on latest industry trends and engage industry stakeholders to collect relevant insights.
- Design detailed interventions and support mechanisms that will strengthen Media industrys capabilities.
- Run internal testing to assess new tools / solutions and its impact on media industry.
- Prepare internal submissions and recommendations to seek approval for Tech in Media programmes and projects, including presentations to senior management.
- Engage like-minded partners, where relevant to roll out interventions.
- Lead day-to-day execution of the various projects/ initiatives so that KPIs and output are delivered in a timely manner and to expected quality standards, including contract negotiations, project monitoring, grant administration and issues management.
- Collate and review learnings from projects to provide insights to guide future Programme(s) development.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant working experience in project management roles, preferably in the media industry.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Gen AI and other tech areas relevant to media and interest in technology, coding, prompt engineering will be an advantage.
- Well-versed in managing stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Agile team player who can work with loosely defined problem spaces to propose and implement solutions within narrow timeframes.
- Good communication skills (writing and presentation) including ability to explain complex concepts.
- Degree qualification preferably in Media, Business, Computer Science or Engineering.
