Manager, Legal

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and support to the listed entity & its multi-jurisdictional group of companies on a variety of matters, including:

• Acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, private funds and new business initiatives
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of contracts, including term sheets, leases, hospitality and student accommodation operational agreements, SPAs, development-related agreements, facilities
• Appoint, liaise and instruct external counsel on legal matters including data privacy and intellectual property
• Compliance/ risk management / corporate secretarial support
• Dispute resolution
• Undertake any other duties assigned by superiors diligently and professionally

Requirements

• Degree in Law (LLB) from Singapore or UK
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in corporate/ commercial work
• Familiarity with laws and regulations governing listed companies and/or M&A is advantageous
• Familiarity with real estate industry is advantageous
• Independent, pro-active, able to multi-task, commercially minded
• Excellent communication skills
