Manager, Legal (Far East Orchard) - 6 months contract
Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and support to the listed entity & its multi-jurisdictional group including Australia, Japan and UK on a variety of matters, including:
- Acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, private funds and new business initiatives
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, including real estate financing, term sheets, leases, hospitality and lodging operational agreements, development-related agreements
- Instruct external legal counsel on matters including employment issues, data privacy and intellectual property
- Regulatory compliance/ risk management
- Undertake any other duties assigned by superiors diligently and professionally
Requirements
- Degree in Law (LLB) from Singapore or UK
- Minimum 5 years PQE in law firms handling corporate/ commercial work
- Familiarity with laws and regulations governing listed companies and/or M&A is advantageous
- Independent, pro-active, able to multi-task, commercially minded
- Excellent communication skills
