Manager (Learning, Outreach & Research)

OVERVIEW

The Manager (Learning, Outreach & Research) at the Learning and Outreach Department at National Gallery Singapore will support multiple research and insights projects which may include institutional, departmental research, evaluation projects and externally funded projects to drive pedagogical innovation and evidence-based strategies. Reporting to the Deputy Director (Learning & Outreach), the Manager (Learning, Outreach & Research) will be supporting DD/Learning and Outreach in educational initiatives which include data collection and analysis for including, but not limited to, institutional education and social research, insight studies, collaborate and contribute to discussions on education strategy and research direction. The learning analyst will also design and facilitate interviews, focus groups and stakeholder discussions to gather research data and align stakeholders around institutional education research objectives.

The Manager (Learning, Outreach & Research) will also support the delivery of learning and outreach initiatives to nurture young audiences with visual arts appreciation and increase public familiarity with the Gallery's learning and social impacts, identity, mission, and services, with the goal of bringing non-traditional museum going audiences into the Gallery and retain interest for repeat visitors. This role has a strong collaboration and data-driven focus, which involves working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver meaningful art experiences for audiences of different demographics in and beyond the Gallery. This role requires an agility in both working with research activities and delivering programme initiatives to enhance learning, social outcomes and impacts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to the below

• ):Design and execute data collection and analyses approaches for institutional and pedagogical research projects including, but not limited to, in relation to the Gallery's Learning and Outreach frameworks and programme
