Reporting to the Head of Transfer Pricing, the Manager, IT&S Transfer Pricing is responsible for global transfer pricing matters across all regional consolidated legal entities. This includes monitoring and mitigating transfer pricing risks, planning new business development initiatives, and continuously developing transfer pricing policies. The role involves up-to-date benchmark studies, intercompany agreements, and transfer pricing documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure global transfer pricing policies and strategies are adhered to and propose continuous improvement actions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders such as Legal, Business Development, Finance teams, auditors, governments, and tax advisors.
  • Monitor current and upcoming legislative and regulatory transfer pricing developments (including case law) in relevant jurisdictions evaluate potential effects on the company, identify tax risks, and develop strategies to mitigate risks while capitalizing on legislative changes. Communicate updates internally and update policies and global transfer pricing strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Financial Accounting & Reporting to set and monitor intercompany pricing, including participation in technology projects aimed at automation.
  • Analyze financial results of group entities to ensure transfer pricing policy compliance, including assistance with post year-end transfer pricing adjustments.
  • Collaborate with HR to monitor significant people functions relevant to transfer pricing.
  • Prepare transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local File, CbCR) in line with BEPS requirements in the region.
  • Support regional tax teams with local audits and maintain up-to-date audit defense files.
  • Ensure intercompany transactions are documented in intercompany agreements in cooperation with Legal.
  • Ensure documentation of all uncertain tax position memoranda relating to transfer pricing across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Communicate tax-relevant matters with external investors, customers, and suppliers.
  • Maintain functional analyses and benchmarking studies, including related intercompany agreements.
  • Ensure efficient intercompany cost reimbursement processes, including preparation of required agreements.
  • Provide intercompany pricing input for long-term financial modeling of new projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as tax advisors, and liaise with the parent organization on transfer pricing matters.
  • Facilitate learning and development to increase transfer pricing knowledge among internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a role model within the organization and contribute to a winning culture.
  • Manage ad hoc matters and support the Head of Transfer Pricing with budgeting requirements.
  • QHSSE Duties - every employee shall:

o Take care of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts or oversights

o Not interfere with or misuse anything supplied for their health, safety and welfare

o Report quality related problems and HSSE hazards or deficits within their area to the QHSSE department

Promote and take part in the QHSSE continuous improvement process.

Requirements

  • In-depth transfer pricing expertise across different areas and cross-border tax matters.
  • Deep commercial understanding, including OECD transfer pricing guidelines.
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience in international tax planning and tax compliance with a multinational organization or Big 4 company.
  • Proven track record in leading global tax organizations.
  • Experience in infrastructure and/or offshore oil and gas sectors is an advantage.
