Responsibilities:
The role is expected to be the central coordinator to bridge communication and operation between the region office in Singapore and Headquarter in Japan to ensure alignment across Corporate Management (CM), HR administration, Compliance, and Finance (FA) matters. The ideal candidate will facilitate seamless communication with the Group, drive business process optimization and maintain the organization's crisis readiness.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
Corporate management:
- Governance-related matters (HQ coordination, MEAG policy implementation, investment vehicle management, etc.)
- Expats-related matters (application of expatriate policies, relocation procedures, etc.)
- IT (Task force for business process optimization)
- Office management (contract renewals, etc.)
- BCP (crisis response, emergency drills, operation of the emergency contact system, etc.)
HR related matters:
- Expats-related matters (VISA)
- Engagement survey
Compliance matters:
- HQ coordination (compliance surveys, anti-bribery due diligence, dealings with public officials, etc.)
- Compliance training
Accounting and Finance
- Budget preparation
- Project related accounting and tax consultation
- Group transaction arrangement (Management Fee, Capital injection, Dividend, Intercompany loan, etc)
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate functions or a cross-functional Admin / Finance role within an MNC environment.
- Strong foundational knowledge in Accounting / Finance to coordinate budgets, intercompany loans and tax consultations.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal and external parties.
- Regular business trips to Japan HQ and other countries will be required.
- Fluency in Japanese is required as the role involves frequent coordination with Japan HQ and Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
