You shall be responsible for assisting the Office of Innovation to fulfil its objectives of coordinating and managing innovation initiatives under CGH. You will assist the Senior Manager to oversee the innovation projects under Office of Innovation and manage engagements with relevant stakeholders. The job functions include but not limited to:
- Project Management
- IP Management
- IP Licensing, Technology Transfer, and Commercialisation
Responsibilities:
(1) Project Management
- Coordinate the project from end-to-end, including scoping of project, budgeting, preparing application for funding, preparing approval papers, coordination with funders/sponsors, project funds administration, closure of project.
(2) IP Management
- Manage a portfolio of CGH Intellectual Property and patents
- Support projects in matters relating to business and product conceptualisation such as market analysis, market validation, IP strategy, product and business plan development.
- IP Licensing, Technology Transfer, Commercialisation
- Identify and/or scout for commercialisation partners to out-license CGH IP and patents
- Legal and contractual negotiation
(3) Other duties
- Promote the innovation culture within CGH and beyond by organising workshops, events and forums to raise awareness of Office of Innovation
- Promote the design thinking culture within CGH
- Supervise interns
- Assist in the preparing of annual and supplementary budgetary requirements for the Office of Innovation
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Office of Innovation
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, Industrial Design or related field from a reputable University
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience in healthcare.
- Those with lesser years of experience may be considered if the individual presents with outstanding projects or portfolio.
- Prior experience in healthcare or innovation-related field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office application (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Proficient in CAD (computer aided design) software
- Exposure to ISO 13485
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leader with the maturity to deal with a broad range of challenges and proven track record of managing and developing teams
