[What the role is]
The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, aligning people strategies with business objectives. You will collaborate with our leaders to implement HR solutions that enhance employee experience and drive organisational success, acting as both a consultant to leadership and advocate for employees. You may also be involved in HR and/or other cross-division projects from time to time.
[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor on HR policy matters
- Partner with divisions on workforce planning and optimise manpower allocation.
- Enhance employee retention and strengthen organisational culture through fostering positive work relationships and maintaining employee well-being
- Enhance policy and process through the usage of data analytics, leveraging on trends and insights to highlight improvement opportunities
- Deliver comprehensive performance management support to divisions, including coaching, counselling and career guidance
- Maintain and administer disciplinary oversight on IMDA's code of conduct
- Ensure a pipeline of future ready leaders by working closely with Talent Management and IMDA's senior leadership on succession planning initiatives
[What we are looking for]
Requirements
- Background in Human Resource Management or related fields.
- Minimum 8 years experience handling employee relations issues and strategic partnership.
- Knowledge of Human Resource disciplines including compensation practices, talent management, organisational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
- Strong business acumen and key stakeholders management abilities.
- Analytical, problem-solving and sound judgement in confidential matters.
