Reporting to the Head of HPIO, you will split your time equally between (A) AI, digitalisation and data analytics work, and (B) quality assurance, compliance and serious event management.

Responsibilities

Part A — AI, Digitalisation & Data Analytics

• Lead AI and digitalisation initiatives across St. Andrew's Community Hospital, identifying opportunities to enhance clinical and operational workflows.

• Implement and improve the Data-driven Decision-Making System (DDDMS); design and maintain performance dashboards and analytics tools.

• Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to scope, pilot, and scale digital solutions, including automation and predictive analytics.

• Build data literacy across SACH through training and coaching; engage with external partners to evaluate digital health innovations.

Part B — Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Support St. Andrew's Senior Care / Active Ageing Centre Quality Assurance Committees (QAC) — prepare papers, track actions and drive follow-up on improvement work.

• Facilitate review and root cause analysis of Serious Reportable Events (SREs); ensure timely MOH submission.

• Introduce and embed the Ensure Safer System (ESS) Framework across SACH.

• Organise the annual St. Andrew's Quality Day; support cross-institutional quality improvement and collaboration.

• Any other tasks as assigned by HOD.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Medicine, Nursing or related field.

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt;

• Relevant data analytics certification (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python) an advantage.

• At least 5 years healthcare experience with exposure to both digital/data and quality improvement work.

• Experience in QAC support, serious event investigation and/or AI/ digitalisation projects in a healthcare setting.

• Skilled in facilitating workshops, training and applying Design Thinking or Human Factors methodologies.

• Excellent planning, problem-solving and communication skills; highly self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
