Description
The Localization Project Manager, DCM (Digital Commerce Management) is a highly motivated and experienced project manager, focusing on the high-quality translation and localization of product data, marketing, and application content on the Apple Online Stores, Apple Store App, WeChat and Tmall platforms.

You will own the end-to-end delivery of localization projects powered by WorldServer, while serving as the strategic bridge between Engineering, Product, Marketing, and regional teams. You will be expected to go beyond day-to-day project execution - actively identifying workflow inefficiencies, piloting automation and LLM-based solutions, building and maintaining strong vendor partnerships. Success in this role means driving measurable improvements and efficiencies in workflows and processes, while keeping stakeholders informed and launches on track.

As an experienced project manager, you bring a strong technical foundation in modern localization tooling, including hands-on expertise with TMS platforms, translation memory systems, and AI/ML-powered automation solutions. You have outstanding time management skills, a great attention to detail, and have seen many projects from conception to completion. You are a born communicator, with the ability to maintain tight relationships across a broad set of partner groups. You have experience working with international teams, and a real passion for top of class customer experiences. You thrive in leaving no rock unturned, and handle ambiguity with grace. You have a background in localization, and are process minded. You are focused on great customer experiences, and how truly localized content is vital to successful businesses.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end localization project lifecycle using our in-house TMS platform (WorldServer) and translation memory tools to drive on-time, in-budget delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and regional teams; serve as a trusted localization advisor who proactively communicates project status, risks, and decisions with clarity and confidence.
  • Continuously audit existing localization workflows to identify inefficiencies and evaluate opportunities to integrate AI, automation, and MT/LLM solutions that improve throughput, reduce manual effort, and lower cost at scale.
  • Oversee LQA cycles during engineering release cycles, campaigns, and new product introductions.
  • Work effectively with others in a constantly evolving environment with fixed launch schedule and effectively navigate difficult decisions with conflicting points of view.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years experience as Localization Project Manager
  • Hands on experience with TMS platforms, CAT tools, and translation memory management.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML powered localization tools with demonstrated experience evaluating, piloting and/or managing automation solutions in production workflows.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management rigor, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in process documentation, including the ability to define, maintain, and communicate localization workflows, SOPs, and quality frameworks across cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of vendor management experience preferred.
  • Native fluency in one or more of the languages supported on the Apple Online Store.
  • Previous website and/or e commerce localization or project management experience preferred.
  • Project Management qualification/certification.
