Transaction Surveillance & Alert Review
- Perform timely review of alerts generated from Group-approved AML transaction monitoring systems.
- Review escalations of unusual AML/CFT activities raised by business and support units.
- Investigate cases arising from other relevant sources, including adverse media and external intelligence.
- Ensure all reviews are conducted in accordance with Group AML/CFT standards and procedures.
Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR/STAR)
- Prepare and submit suspicious transaction/activity reports to relevant law enforcement authorities or Financial Intelligence Units in line with AML/CFT legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting in compliance with local regulations and Group standards.
Investigation & Risk Analysis
- Conduct in-depth transaction investigations to identify potential money laundering, terrorism financing, and related financial crime risks.
- Analyse suspicious transaction/activity reports to identify emerging AML/CFT risk trends and typologies.
- Escalate significant risk issues and observations to support effective AML/CFT risk management across the Group.
Advisory & Stakeholder Support
- Provide advisory support to business units, support units, and other AML/CFT teams on transaction monitoring reviews and investigations.
- Act as a subject matter resource on transaction surveillance matters and investigation outcomes.
Framework Enhancement & Continuous Improvement
- Support the team lead in strengthening and enhancing the Group's transaction surveillance and investigation framework.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of operating procedures and investigative methodologies across the Group.
Documentation & Governance
- Maintain proper documentation, investigation records, and audit trails in accordance with Group standards.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of case records to support audits and regulatory reviews.
