Role Overview
The role involves providing day-to-day operational support for FX, NDF, MM, Derivatives, and Fixed Income products, ensuring accurate trade processing, settlement, and reporting for both local and overseas branches. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, risk awareness, and the ability to liaise effectively across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day processing of FX, NDF, MM, Derivatives, and Fixed Income trades for overseas branches.
- Follow up on outstanding trade confirmations, settlement instructions, and reconciliation issues.
- Attend to queries from internal teams and external clients regarding trade processing.
- Liaise with front office and external parties to ensure accurate trade capture, confirmation, and settlement, escalating issues as needed.
- Monitor and verify fixings and settlements; track non-receipts/non-payments and resolve issues promptly.
- Review and submit monthly statistics, including transaction volumes, dealer errors, and outstanding trade confirmations to management.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other ad-hoc projects.
- Support treasury operations during staggered hours, Singapore public holidays, and weekends as required for UAT or project activities.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Management, or relevant banking experience.
- Minimum 35 years of treasury settlement operations experience.
- Knowledge of SWIFT (MT/MX) messaging standards.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong risk awareness, attention to detail, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on time sensitivity and risk impact.
- Highly driven, able to work under pressure in time-sensitive environments.
- Innovative mindset with ability to identify process improvements for risk reduction and efficiency gains.
