Manager, Financial Control & Grants, Healthcare Services

Our client is a well-established Singapore-headquartered healthcare services organisation seeking an experienced finance professional to join its team as Manager, Financial Control & Grants.

The role will lead a team and develop team capabilities, while working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.

The role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and effectiveness of the finance function. You will lead the month-end and year-end closing process, financial and statutory reporting, general ledger management and financial controls, while overseeing treasury activities including cash flow, banking, liquidity and funding requirements. You will also take ownership of grant accounting and fund administration, ensuring proper utilisation, reporting and compliance with funding requirements, as well as fixed asset accounting and lifecycle management.

Beyond the core controllership responsibilities, the role offers strong exposure to finance transformation and process improvement. You will be involved in initiatives such as ERP implementation, chart of accounts redesign, process enhancement and strengthening finance governance, providing an opportunity to make a tangible impact on how the finance function operates.

We are looking for a qualified finance professional with 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally with a strong foundation in financial accounting and audit, together with exposure to treasury, grants and financial controls. Experience in ERP implementation, finance transformation or chart of accounts redesign will be an advantage. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, governance and internal controls, coupled with advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with financial reporting tools and data, will be valued.
