JOB SCOPE
- Manage the full lifecycle of finance operations initiatives, from planning to implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time
- Analyze, model, and reengineer core finance operations processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create and implement future-state finance operating models for finance operations, and digital finance solutions
- Oversee the elements of change management to ensure new processes and technologies are adopted and sustainable long-term.
- Perform systems reconciliation to ensure closing is completed accurately and timely.
- Review product specification document and provide Finance requirement for IT development
- Support product launches, system enhancements, setting up of accounting entries in systems, and perform UAT to ensure it meets business requirements before going live.
- To assess and review all submitted Finance requirements/enhancements to ensure it is relevant and sustainable.
- To track the progress of all enhancements and projects (benefits: regulatory or operations efficiency)
- Work collaboratively with different teams on initiatives which would improve Finance's efficiency.
- Maintain all systems user access management of Finance team and ensure the assignment of roles are correct without conflicting roles.
- Prepare Finance Transformation deck to senior management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Leadership skills
- Preferably with insurance background
- IFRS 17 knowledge preferred but not mandatory
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop innovative solutions
- Ability to lead and coach teams, fostering a positive learning culture
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex strategic financial planning
