Manager (Facilities)

Strategic Planning & Development:

• Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for service and maintenance operations.
• Develop and manage capital plans for tech refresh projects financial planning.
• Continuous Improvement - Ensure continuous site improvements in areas of M&E Infrastructure, green initiatives, and operational processes.
• Conduct regular review of technical refresh for customers.

Operational Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day service and maintenance activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
• Oversee Service Level Agreement of Service Providers, ensuring it meets contractual performance and perform payment milestones.
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventative maintenance programs and repair work.
• Manage customers expectation and contract deliverables.
• Manage the department operational expenses and income streams.
• Oversee that mandatory activities / tasks are being delivered within stipulated timeline / key milestones.
• Oversee that compliance of all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for all clients and stakeholders
• Implement and monitor health and safety programs and protocols.
• Investigate safety incidents.
• Provide support for all emergencies / recovery process.
• Investigate non-conformances and review the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.

Team Leadership & Management:

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff.
• Lead, motivate, and empower staff to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
• Assist in training staff members on proper work processes, operating procedures, equipment servicing, etc.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback.
• Directly support the following roles Senior Manager / Assistant Manager during their term of absence

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the service and maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial guidelines.
• Monitor and track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies for budgetary control.
• To assist Senior Manager / AVP to manage OPEX and CAPEX Budget.

Vendor Management:

• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, negotiate cost, and ensure quality of service.

Safety & Security:

• Implement and maintain safety standards and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, addressing potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.
• To ensure Client's Premises / Facilities are in full compliance to the Group / Local's standards and regulatory requirements.

Communication & Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with superiors, staff, and other stakeholders within the organization.
• Close engagement with clients.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and business needs.
• Ensure the implementation and communication of company policies to direct reports.

Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor and evaluate service and maintenance operations to identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in facilities management for critical environment
• Support overseas travel or expansion activities as directed by the Senior Manager / AVP
