Role Overview

As the Strategic Architect of our performance intelligence layer, you will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into a high-level Commercial Ecosystem for leadership and actionable levers for our optimization teams. You will act as a dedicated Subject Matter Expert (SME), applying consulting-grade frameworks and deep programmatic advertising knowledge to drive yield efficiency. This role is designed for a technical builder who thrives on autonomy and possesses the commercial acumen to serve as a lead advisor to executive leadership on inventory value and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Yield Strategy & Inventory Ownership

  • Performance Variance Analysis: Own and manage recurring analyses to evaluate network trends, ensuring rate integrity and identifying yield optimization opportunities.
  • Revenue Sustainability: Serve as the primary monitor for inventory health to minimize performance variances and develop strategies that protect optimal eCPM benchmarks.
  • Demand-Supply Management: Proactively manage inventory dynamics to provide leadership with the commercial logic needed to prioritize high-impact strategic partnerships.
  • Utilization Audits: Execute deep-dive audits across digital display and programmatic platforms to identify gaps in utilization and areas for efficiency gains.

2. Strategic Intelligence & Growth Frameworks

  • Client Retention Analytics: Lead the analysis of renewal patterns and client performance history to establish benchmarks for sustainable long-term budget growth.
  • Intelligence Architecture: Design and deploy automated dashboards that translate raw data into actionable levers (e.g., Viewability, CTR, and Conversion) for cross-functional teams.
  • Operational Advisory: Partner with campaign leads to provide so-what insights on how campaign behaviors impact long-term inventory value.

3. Executive Storytelling & Insights Synthesis

  • Commercial Insights Loop: Independently synthesize performance data into executive-level summaries, providing business development teams with validated insights for high-impact proposals.
  • Narrative Translation: Pivot communication style from granular data trends to high-level strategic logic regarding business growth for senior management.

Candidate Profile & Experience

  • Relevant Experience: 35 years of experience in Management Consulting, Media/Advertising Agencies (Data/Performance teams), or Business Intelligence.
  • Industry Knowledge:Deep understanding of programmatic advertising dynamics (DSPs, SSPs, and Exchanges) and digital media yield management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker Studio).
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to apply hypothesis-driven analysis to break down ambiguous business challenges into clear strategic options.
