The Opportunity

At Ascott, we are committed to delivering seamless and engaging digital experiences that enhance how guests discover, evaluate and book our properties globally. We are seeking a hands-on and commercially driven individual to lead and optimise our end-to-end digital journey across direct online platforms. This role will play a critical part in improving discoverability, driving conversion, and delivering measurable business impact through continuous experimentation and data-driven optimisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Experience & Optimisation

  • Own and continuously enhance website content, UI/UX and end-to-end booking journeys to increase engagement and conversion across direct channels
  • Establish and uphold UX standards, design governance and digital best practices across platforms
  • Drive hands-on execution of user journey improvements, including testing and iteration of on-site experience
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance content effectiveness, UX optimisation and team productivity

Search & Discoverability

  • Develop and execute search strategies across SEO and emerging AI-driven discovery channels (e.g. AEO/GEO)
  • Optimise content structure and on-site elements to improve search rankings, answer visibility and AI-generated discovery
  • Partner with internal and external technical teams to implement on-page and technical SEO enhancements
  • Monitor search performance and trends, translating insights into actionable optimisation initiatives

Performance & Analytics

  • Oversee digital performance tracking, ensuring robust tagging, measurement and reporting frameworks are in place for reliable ROI evaluation
  • Analyse performance data to generate actionable insights and maintain a prioritised optimisation roadmap
  • Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to improve digital effectiveness and commercial outcomes

Stakeholder, Vendor & Team Leadership

  • Serve as the key point of contact for digital experience initiatives, aligning cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution
  • Manage external agencies and vendors to ensure quality delivery, adherence to timelines and achievement of business objectives
  • Review deliverables and conduct user validation prior to deployment to ensure optimal user experience
  • Lead and develop team members (where applicable), setting clear goals, accountability and performance expectations
  • Foster a collaborative, agile and test-and-learn culture with strong ownership of results

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in digital, e-commerce, or web optimisation roles
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in UI/UX, SEO (including emerging AI-led search such as AEO/GEO), and digital analytics
  • Proven track record of improving conversion rates and digital performance outcomes
  • Experience applying AI tools to enhance digital experience, content optimisation, search performance or workflow efficiency
  • Strong execution mindset with the ability to prioritise effectively, solve problems and deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across markets and functions
  • Experience managing external agencies and vendors
  • Familiarity with web analytics and performance measurement tools
  • Experience in hospitality, travel, or multi-market environments would be advantageous
