We are now looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
About the Role
This is a senior sales role for someone who is confident in selling technology solutions, managing complex client conversations and driving the full business development cycle from lead generation to closing.
The ideal candidate should be able to engage business owners, senior management and decision-makers, understand their operational challenges, identify opportunities for digitalisation or AI adoption, and position OTG Lab's solutions strategically.
This role requires someone who can sell beyond standard websites and communicate the value of higher-ticket solutions such as AI automation, custom web applications, mobile applications, AI-powered SaaS products, agentic AI solutions, system integrations and business process transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Drive new business opportunities across AI, SaaS, custom software, web applications, mobile applications and digital transformation solutions.
- Generate, qualify and manage leads through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, partnerships and inbound enquiries.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including follow-ups, proposal discussions, negotiations, closing and project handover.
Consultative Solution Selling
- Conduct client discovery sessions to understand business challenges, operational workflows and digitalisation needs.
- Recommend suitable solutions such as AI consulting, AI agents, AI software development, SaaS products, system integrations, websites and custom applications.
- Prepare and present proposals confidently to business owners, senior management and decision-makers.
Client Growth & Reporting
- Build long-term client relationships and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, revenue and activity updates.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover and alignment of scope, requirements and expectations.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of business development, sales, account management or project management experience, preferably in a digital agency, software development company, SaaS company, technology consultancy or IT solutions environment.
- Proven track record in B2B sales and closing mid-to-high value projects.
- Strong understanding of digital solutions such as websites, e-commerce, custom software, CRM, workflow automation, web applications, mobile applications or SaaS platforms.
- Interest in AI, automation, digital transformation and emerging technologies.
- Ability to sell consultatively, not just transactionally.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client operations and recommend practical solutions.
- Confident in presenting to business owners, senior management and decision-makers.
- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hunter mindset with the ability to generate leads independently.
- Target-driven, resilient and motivated by performance-based rewards.
- Able to manage multiple opportunities, proposals and client conversations at the same time.
- Comfortable working with internal technical, creative and project teams.
- Experience selling AI, automation, software development, SaaS, ERP, CRM, digital transformation or grant-supported solutions will be an advantage.
- Experience managing junior sales team members or leading sales initiatives will be a plus.

Preferred Experience
- Business Development / B2B Sales: 3–5 years
- Experience selling technology solutions, AI solutions, SaaS, software, digital agency or IT solutions services preferred
- Experience in AI technology solutions, automation, custom software, web applications, mobile applications, CRM, ERP or workflow transformation will be advantageous
- Experience selling to SMEs, enterprises or public-sector-related clients will be a plus
