The Manager, Data & AI Architect will lead the design and adoption of secure, scalable AI platforms powering Legal-Tech SaaS, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions. You will bridge legal workflows and modern AI systems, guiding engineering teams and stakeholders to deploy compliant, production-grade AI capabilities that deliver measurable business impact.
The impact you will have
- Build and mature the organisation's production AI platform across cloud and on-prem environments
- Deploy secure RAG and LLM solutions that automate document-heavy legal workflows
- Establish governance, security, and compliance standards aligned with confidentiality requirements
- Drive adoption of AI capabilities across legal practitioners and internal teams
- Lead engineers and stakeholders to translate business processes into scalable AI solutions
- Optimise infrastructure performance, cost, and observability for AI workloads
- Define the firm's AI architecture roadmap and operational best practices
- Enable successful rollout of Agentic AI and automation initiatives
What we look for
- 10+ years in solution architecture, data platforms, or AI engineering leadership
- Experience in LLMs, RAG pipelines, and vector databases
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes / OpenShift and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience designing systems in regulated or security-sensitive environments
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices (CI/CD, Terraform, Infrastructure-as-code)
- Ability to lead teams while remaining technically hands-on
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Background in Legal-Tech, FinTech, or enterprise SaaS is advantageous
