Key Responsibilities
1. IT Operations Management
- Manage daily IT operations and ensure business continuity.
- Oversee servers, networks, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure IT services meet agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
2. Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the IT team.
- Allocate resources and manage workloads.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
- Foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
3. IT Strategy & Planning
- Develop annual IT roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Recommend new technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage IT budgets and technology investments.
- Plan infrastructure upgrades and system enhancements.
4. Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Implement cybersecurity policies and best practices.
- Monitor security incidents and coordinate incident response.
- Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Conduct risk assessments and security awareness training.
5. Vendor & Project Management
- Manage relationships with software and hardware vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
- Lead IT implementation projects from planning through deployment.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
6. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Manage software licensing and asset inventories.
7. Stakeholder Support
- Partner with department heads to understand business requirements.
- Provide technology recommendations to improve productivity.
- Communicate project progress and IT performance to senior management.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
- 5-8 years of IT experience.
- At least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Experience managing infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and IT projects.
