About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven Corporate Finance Manager to lead the company's funding strategy and execution. This role is responsible for securing and managing financing facilities from banks and financial institutions to support the growth of our auto-financing portfolio. The ideal candidate is a strong dealmaker with proven experience in structuring and closing banking facilities, particularly within lending, hire purchase or auto-financing environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Funding Strategy & Execution . Source, structure and secure funding facilities including term loans, revolving credit and structured financing . Lead end-to-end funding process including pitching, financial modelling, credit submissions, due diligence and execution . Develop funding strategies aligned with business growth plans and portfolio expansion
2. Banking Relationship Management . Build, manage and deepen relationships with banks and financial institutions in Malaysia . Act as the primary point of contact for all funding partners . Expand funding lines and diversify funding sources
3. Deal Structuring & Negotiation . Structure financing solutions based on loan receivables and portfolio characteristics . Negotiate key commercial terms including pricing, facility limits, tenure and covenants . Optimize cost of funds while maintaining flexibility for business growth
4. Liquidity & Facility Management . Monitor facility utilization and ensure sufficient liquidity to support disbursement targets . Work closely with Treasury / Finance to manage drawdowns and repayments . Ensure timely compliance with all banking covenants and reporting requirements
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration . Partner with Credit, Finance and Business Development teams to align funding structure with portfolio quality and growth strategy . Provide input on credit policies and product structuring from a funding perspective
Job Requirements
. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, corporate banking, treasury (funding) or capital markets
. Proven track record in securing and managing banking facilities or structured financing deals
. Strong existing network with banks and financial institutions in Singapore
. Solid understanding of loan receivables, credit structures and financing risk management
. Experience in auto-financing, hire purchase or lending environment is highly preferred
. Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
. Commercially driven with strong execution capability in a fast-paced environment
