Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the cake shop, including production and retail

  • Supervise baking processes and ensure consistency in product quality and presentation

  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance

  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards

  • Monitor inventory levels, stock control, and ordering of ingredients

  • Ensure efficient workflow and timely production during peak periods

  • Handle customer service and feedback professionally

  • Support development of new bakery products and menu offerings

  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in bakery, pastry, or food production operations preferred

  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience is an advantage

  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Good organisational and time management abilities

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
