Manager

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead and manage the Company's HVAC operations across commercial and industrial projects in Singapore.

This role requires specialised technical expertise, supervisory responsibility, and regulatory knowledge that go beyond routine operational functions. The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight, technical leadership, compliance assurance, and client coordination, contributing directly to service quality, safety standards, and business sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Technical Leadership

1. Oversee and manage end-to-end air-conditioning servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and rectification works across multiple sites.
2. Install air-conditioning systems, piping, and stainless steel brackets.
3. Supply and carry out ceiling works, box-up works, concealment works, and hacking works for air-conditioning installation.
4. Liaise with suppliers to coordinate, order, and reserve materials and air-conditioning units.
5. Arrange appointments with customers for air-conditioning installation and cleaning services.
6. Support marketing activities, including advertisements and company website updates.
7. Conduct inspection, servicing, and maintenance works for shopping malls and restaurants.
8. Provide electrical services related to air-conditioning systems, including installation of wiring, MCBs, power points, and adapters
9. Lead technical teams in the execution of preventive maintenance programmes and complex fault diagnosis for VRV/VRF, chilled water, and commercial AC systems.
10. Review and approve technical work plans, methodologies, and service schedules.

Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

1. Ensure operational compliance with applicable Singapore regulations and guidelines, including Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), NEA, BCA, and MOM requirements.
2. Implement and enforce safety management systems, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
3. Support management in audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions when required.

Team & Resource Management

1. Supervise, mentor, and manage technicians and site supervisors, including manpower planning and deployment.
2. Conduct performance monitoring, technical training, and skills development for the operations team.
3. Coordinate subcontractors and ensure alignment with company standards and contractual obligations.

Client & Stakeholder Management

1. Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, building owners, and main contractors.
2. Attend coordination meetings, provide technical advice, and manage service performance expectations.
3. Address operational issues and implement corrective actions to ensure service continuity.

Reporting & Business Support

1. Prepare operational reports, service performance summaries, and technical documentation.
2. Support cost control, budgeting, and preparation of quotations for maintenance and rectification works.
3. Provide technical input to management on process improvements and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in air-conditioning or HVAC operations, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
2. Proven experience managing commercial or industrial HVAC systems in a regulated environment.
3. Strong technical knowledge of advanced air-conditioning systems (VRV/VRF, chilled water systems, BMS integration).
4. Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance, safety management, and operational risk control.
5. Ability to manage multi-site operations and lead cross-functional teams.
6. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
7. Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
