[What the role is]

The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) is a strategic division within the corporate group dedicated to driving and overseeing digital transformation initiatives across IMDA. The DTO plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that align with IMDA's goals and objectives through the innovative use of emerging technology and data. By spearheading digital transformation initiatives, the DTO aims to revolutionize processes, elevate customer experiences, and foster a culture of innovation. Through collaboration with various departments, the DTO ensures that digital initiatives are integrated seamlessly across the organization, positioning IMDA to be at the forefront in the digital age.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with business leaders, end-users, and technical teams to gather, analyse, and document detailed business requirements for Salesforce solutions.
  • Translate Business Needs: Convert business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications and user stories, ensuring alignment with development teams and business goals.
  • Facilitate Process Improvements: Analyse existing business processes, identify pain points, and recommend automation or optimization using Salesforce tools.
  • Oversee Salesforce Enhancements: Partner with Salesforce administrators and developers to design, configure, and implement custom solutions, including workflows, dashboards, and custom objects.
  • Conduct Testing: Perform functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure Salesforce configurations meet business requirements and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Create Reports and Dashboards: Develop insightful reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across teams.
  • Train and Support Users: Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure effective adoption and utilization of Salesforce solutions.
  • Act as a Liaison: Bridge communication between business units and technical teams, ensuring alignment and smooth delivery of projects.
  • Stay Updated on Salesforce Trends: Keep up with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices, applying them to improve processes and solutions.
  • Drive Strategic Value: Work proactively to identify areas where Salesforce can add value to the organization's goals, driving efficiency and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Background in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
  • Preferred Salesforce certifications in Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Business Analyst.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and other project management software.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and creating user stories.
  • Hands-on experience with report creation and dashboard design in Salesforce.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
