Job Responsibilities
Actively supervise the HR team on HR functions and maintain the discipline and cohesiveness of the team working towards achieving the corporator objectives.
Induct, train, coach and develop members, include conducting orientation for new employees.
Manage training budget, monitor training plan and maintain training record within the group.
Develop and maintain the Standard Operation Procedures or internal procedures
Participate and contribute actively either as the Chairperson or as a member in the various committees of the company or any other company wide gathering.
Stay up to date with employment laws and labor regulations to ensure compliance and best practices within the group.
Able to communicate effectively and concisely with both internal and external stakeholders, through written and verbal communication, while ensuring timely responses.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor / Top Management.
Process payroll via Info Tech Payroll system Prepare and maintain and maintain employee payroll records Preparation and submission of Form IR21, IR8A, IR8S, Appendix 8A and Appendix 8B Filing of all government paid leave and claims Handle and assist staff query on benefit and payroll matters To undertake other HR functions, ad hoc projects and other duties as and when assigned
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience, preferable in marine/engineering/construction industry.
Have a nose in recognizing problems and an effective problem solver.
Adaptable, proactive and responsible.
Good interpersonal skills, pleasant disposition and professional in approach.
Good communication skills both verbal and written and good team player.
