Manager, Alumni Services
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage outreach initiatives to engage APSN alumni and connect them to relevant APSN programmes, services, and Centre enrolment opportunities.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute alumni events and activities with partners, ensuring that objectives and desired outcomes are achieved.
- Develop and manage relationships with professional partners, allied professionals, job coaches, employers, and volunteers to create training, employment, and engagement opportunities for alumni.
- Coordinate alumni support and case management with Allied Professionals and Job Coaches, including facilitating training, job placement, and the Financial Assistance Scheme.
- Coordinate the marketing, branding, and communications of alumni events and activities with the HQ Corporate Planning (CP) Team to enhance outreach and participation.
- Manage programme budgets and resources effectively, monitor expenditure, and ensure the successful implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement of alumni programmes and activities.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in any discipline, a qualification in Counselling or a related field would be preferred.
- Experience in alumni engagement, community services, programme/event management, stakeholder engagement, or a related field. Experience in the Special Educational Needs sector would be an advantage.
- Experience in developing and managing relationships with partners, volunteers, employers, allied professionals, and other external stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
- Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others, proactive, resourceful, creative, and able to take initiative.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with good organisational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
