Our client is a Singapore-based professional advisory firm under a well-established Japanese financial group, providing cross-border M&A, fundraising, and strategic advisory services between Japan and ASEAN.
They are currently seeking a Manager (Advisory / Investment / M&A, Japanese Speaking).
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage advisory projects across cross-border transactions (Japan-ASEAN).
- Originate new business opportunities and drive business development initiatives.
- Execute M&A advisory, fundraising, and real estate transactions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and institutional clients.
- Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
- Support Japanese companies in overseas expansion and ASEAN market entry.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders across regions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
Requirement & Preferences
(Must)
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in leading teams or mentoring junior members.
- Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) to communicate effectively with Japanese clients and headquarters.
- Hands-on experience in deal execution (e.g., M&A, fundraising, due diligence).
- Strong structured thinking and problem-solving skills.
(Advantageous)
- Knowledge of accounting principles or financial reporting.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, or legal background).
