Job Description

Marketing Manager - Roles & Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing plans.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and potential business areas.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Recommend new marketing initiatives to increase company visibility and revenue.

2. Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.
  • Generate leads through online and offline marketing activities.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to convert marketing leads into business opportunities.
  • Follow up with potential clients and maintain proper records of enquiries and prospects.

3. Digital Marketing

  • Manage the company's digital marketing activities, including website, social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Develop and publish engaging content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, and other relevant channels.
  • Plan and manage online advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor website traffic, social media engagement, leads, and campaign performance.
  • Improve the company's online presence and brand visibility.

4. Branding & Corporate Image

  • Develop and maintain a consistent corporate brand image.
  • Ensure that company brochures, presentations, advertisements, website content, and promotional materials are professionally prepared.
  • Coordinate the preparation of marketing materials, company profiles, brochures, flyers, and other promotional items.
  • Promote the company's services, products, capabilities, and achievements.

5. Customer & Market Research

  • Conduct market research to understand customer requirements and market demand.
  • Collect and analyse customer feedback.
  • Monitor competitors pricing, services, promotions, and marketing activities.
  • Identify changes in customer preferences and recommend appropriate marketing strategies.

6. Events & Promotions

  • Plan and coordinate exhibitions, trade shows, networking events, seminars, and promotional activities.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events and business meetings.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, designers, media agencies, and other marketing partners.
  • Develop promotional campaigns to attract new customers and strengthen existing relationships.

7. Sales & Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with management, sales, operations, and other departments to support business growth.
  • Provide marketing support for quotations, tenders, proposals, presentations, and client meetings.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure proper follow-up of marketing leads.
  • Maintain an updated database of clients, prospects, enquiries, and business contacts.

8. Marketing Budget & Performance

  • Prepare and manage the marketing budget.
  • Monitor marketing expenditure and ensure that activities are conducted within approved budgets.
  • Track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and prepare performance reports.
  • Analyse marketing results and recommend improvements where required.

9. Reporting & Management

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly marketing reports for management.
  • Report on leads generated, client enquiries, campaigns, business opportunities, and marketing performance.
  • Present marketing plans, results, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Maintain proper records and documentation of all marketing activities.

10. Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform any other marketing, business development, or related duties assigned by management.
  • Take initiative to identify opportunities that can improve the company's market position and business growth.
