Job Description

We are seeking a Manager, Accounting & Finance to join our fiber business. In this role, you will lead and guide the overseas finance and shared service teams in financial close, reporting, and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely processing of company and consolidated financial statements. You will oversee audits, manage intercompany reconciliations, ensure adherence to tax, banking, and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with auditors, banks, and authorities. The role also involves driving process improvements, recommending best practices in accounting and reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and mentoring a multi-cultural finance team, all while aligning with RGE Group standards.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage and guide the overseas finance team and shared service team in financial close processes, ensuring the accurate and timely processing, recording, and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial information in compliance with financial reporting standards and Group reporting requirements.
  • Review company level financial statements, including accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review consolidated group financial statements and other supporting schedules and listings required by the Group.
  • Prepare and present reviews and analyses of monthly and quarterly statutory financial reports.
  • Investigate and resolve intercompany differences and ensure accurate reconciliations.
  • Oversee the annual financial audit process and ensure the completion of annual audited financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with tax filing deadlines, audits, banking and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate and liaise effectively with external auditors, banks, and government authorities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by streamlining and standardizing work processes and system enhancements.
  • Provide recommendations to ensure best practice in financial accounting and financial reporting.
  • Assist with compilation of financial information for preparation of annual budgets and forecast financial information for various purposes.

Skills & Experience:

  • 10 to 12 years of relevant experience with exposure to group consolidation, preferably with prior Big 4 experience.
  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy or Finance. Certified CA/CPA qualified preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and accounting/group consolidation knowledge.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet dynamic business requirements and tight reporting timelines.
  • Proficiency in SAP and a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members and work across multi-cultural/multi-functional team.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
