We are seeking a motivated and passionate Food & Beverage Management Trainee to join the team at 21 Carpenter, a luxury boutique hotel in Singapore.
This role is designed to develop future hospitality leaders by providing hands-on exposure to all aspects of food and beverage operations. The Management Trainee will rotate across different functions within the F&B department, gaining operational, supervisory and administrative experience while supporting daily restaurant and bar operations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Support the daily operations of the hotel's restaurant, bar and in-room dining services.
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently delivered.
- Assist in coordinating service operations including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and service standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory
- requirements.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address feedback.
- Support the team in creating memorable dining experiences aligned with the hotel's luxury service standards
- Assist supervisors and managers in coordinating staff during service periods.
- Participate in daily briefings and operational meetings.
- Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist in inventory management, stock control and ordering.
- Support the team in cost control initiatives and operational reporting.
- Gain exposure to scheduling, training and team development.
- Develop supervisory and leadership capabilities through guided mentorship.
- Undertake projects assigned by the Director of F&B or management team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism or related field.
- Min 1 year of working experience previous internship or part-time experience in hospitality or F&B.
- Passion for hospitality and guest service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
