Main Responsibilities

. Perform daily internal audit for retail outlets and central kitchens

. Ensure food produced is safe and fit for consumption as well as of good quality

. Ensure personal hygiene and cleanliness of food processing facilities and premises are of high standards.

. Troubleshooting of non-conformance

. Planning of food sampling, surface and hand swabs

. Provide feedback to management on how to continually improve our internal food safety management system

. Engagement with external auditor / inspector and vendors with regards to food safety and hygiene

. Updating and maintenance of food safety & hygiene manual, documents and files.

. Review, update and/or develop SOPs.

. Any other ad-hoc projects assigned by superior.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science/Food Production
  • Candidates with relevant knowledge, training and experience in food safety management systems like HACCP/SS590/ISO22000 (WSQ qualifications/prior working experience/internal audit courses) would also be considered.
  • Good communication skills
  • Vigilant and meticulous
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with high level of initiative and resourcefulness
