ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a Japanese management consulting firm, is expanding its Singapore team to serve clients across Southeast Asia. The firm works with clients on strategy, operations and technology, from defining direction through to implementation.

As the Singapore team is growing, those who join now will have a real say in how the practice develops.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Structure client problems, conduct analysis and develop recommendations

- Lead or support workstreams across strategy, transformation and technology engagements

- Work directly with client stakeholders, from working teams to senior executives

- (Senior Consultant / Manager) Manage workstreams or engagements, coach team members and contribute to proposals

- Contribute to developing the Singapore practice, including methodology, knowledge and client relationships

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Experience in management consulting (strategy, operations or technology), or a comparable role in corporate strategy, transformation or PMO

- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills

- Clear written and spoken English, as client work in the region is conducted in English

- Ability to work effectively with clients and teams across countries

- Indicative experience: Consultant – around 2 to 4 years; Senior Consultant – around 4 to 7 years; Manager – experience leading workstreams or engagements. Candidates are assessed on capability, not tenure alone.

ADVANTAGEOUS (NOT REQUIRED)

- Japanese language ability, as the role involves collaboration with the firm's headquarters in Japan and Japanese clients

- Industry or functional expertise relevant to consulting engagements

- Exposure to AI, data or digital transformation initiatives
