WHO ARE WE
Sia is a global consulting group of 3,000 consultants across 20 countries, founded in 1999 and born digital. Sia puts AI into production, and has done it for more than 15 years. We take organizations through the whole transformation: strategy, deployment, enablement, adoption and culture, because AI creates value only when it runs in production and business teams make it their own. Our Forward Deployed Engineers work embedded with client teams, and our Agent Store offers 1,000+ production-ready agents.
We're optimists for change and we help clients initiate, navigate and benefit from transformation. We believe optimism is a force multiplier, helping clients to mitigate downside and maximize opportunity. Our expertise delivers results. Our optimism transforms outcomes.
The Role
We are hiring a Consultant to join our Financial Services practice in Singapore. You will work with client teams on transformation programmes for banks and other financial institutions across Southeast Asia. You will analyse problems, structure recommendations, facilitate workshops and help clients move from roadmap to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess clients operating models, processes, data and technology capabilities, and identify gaps in governance, architecture and organisation.
- Develop phased transformation roadmaps and investment priorities for banking and financial services clients.
- Support AI and data governance, risk and control initiatives, including policy design, use-case assessment and alignment with regulatory expectations (e.g. MAS guidelines).
- Run stakeholder interviews and client workshops, and turn business requirements into clear, actionable solutions.
- Build analyses, business cases and executive-ready materials, and present findings to senior client stakeholders.
- Work with technology, risk, operations and business teams to support programme delivery and track benefits.
- Contribute to proposals, thought leadership and the growth of the Financial Services practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required. An MBA or other postgraduate degree in business, finance, technology or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in management consulting, financial services, or a technology or product role within a bank or financial institution.
- Working knowledge of at least one banking area, such as lending, payments, mortgages, cards or banking operations.
- Experience with business analysis, operating model design or process improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and executive communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation (e.g. SQL, Python, Tableau or Power BI). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Understanding of risk, compliance and governance topics, ideally including AI and data risk.
- Fluent English. Mandarin or Cantonese is an advantage for regional client work.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with some regional travel.
