Job Description

The Role: In the Management Associate program, you will play a key role in daily store operations, learning the fundamentals of sales, service, and leadership. While retail will remain your primary responsibility, you will also take on secondary assignments to develop you to be our Retail Manager who will lead the success of our retail outlet towards greater heights.

Retail Manager
This program will take approximately 1 - 2 years depending on the performance of the management associate. You will be exposed through an accelerated program that exposes you to the whole spectrum of the Retail Sales Career Path.

Responsibility

  • Managing day-to-day operation of the retail store.
  • Deliver excellent face-to-face customer service and maintain high store standards.
  • Align merchandise mix to meet customer's needs.
  • Uphold safety, housekeeping, and operational compliance standards.

Secondary Functional Exposure (Concurrent Assignments) Alongside your retail duties, you'll participate in projects or learning attachments in:

  • Operations: Assist with store process improvements, logistics coordination, or reporting.
  • Marketing: Support campaign planning, social media activities, or event coordination. Support marketing in store-specific marketing campaigns and organize CRM activities within the boutiques as per guidelines.
  • Human Resources: Contribute to recruitment, training, and employee engagement initiatives. Manage and coach a team of retail associates.
  • Finance: Learn about budgeting, sales reporting, and basic financial analysis for retail operations. Review and analyze store sales against budgets and team performance on KPIs.
  • Business Development: Assist in market research, competitor analysis, and exploring new store opportunities.

These secondary exposures allow you to understand how different departments contribute to the company's growth, all while gaining practical retail management experience.

This role provides the opportunity to work closely with the Merchandising and E-Commerce teams, offering valuable cross-functional exposure to key areas of the business, including:

  • Big-picture understanding of the business: Understand how buying, pricing, assortment, and digital strategy directly impact store performance and profitability.
  • Stronger product knowledge & assortment strategy: Understand why certain products are selected, how assortments are planned, and how customer demand, trends, and data influence decisions.
  • Omnichannel mindset: Understand how stores online platforms, click-and-collect, and fulfillment all connect-critical for modern retail leadership.
  • Better inventory & demand planning skills: Understand forecasting, allocation, replenishment, and sell-through helps you manage stock more efficiently at the store level.
  • Data-driven decision skills: Gain exposure to sales analytics, inventory metrics, conversion rates, and online customer behavior sharpen your ability to make smarter, evidence-based decisions.

Requirements

  • Min Diploma or equivalent
  • Fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Passionate about retail, people, and customer experience.
  • Strong interest in fashion styling
  • Eager to learn about how various business functions drive success.
  • Proactive, curious, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess good communication skills and sales driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
