Monthly Salary: UP to $3200 (Negotiable)

Working Address: Boon Keng

Working Hours: 6 days work week - 10 hours per day - 1 hour break OR

5 days work week - 44 hours total

Responsibilities and Duties:

Our client is looking for an experienced and dedicated Cook with strong knowledge of Malay cuisine.

The ideal candidate should be confident in preparing traditional Malay dishes, particularly Nasi Padang, and have experience in Western or international cuisine as an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

. Prepare and cook a variety of Malay dishes, including Nasi Padang dishes, according to the required standards.

. Prepare Western and international dishes when required.

. Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and portion consistency.

. Perform daily food preparation, including cutting, marinating, seasoning, and cooking of ingredients.

. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.

. Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices are followed.

. Assist with monitoring ingredients and stock levels.

. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

. Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Qualification and Requirements:

. Proven experience as a Cook or Chef, preferably with experience in Malay cuisine.

. Strong knowledge and experience in preparing Nasi Padang and traditional Malay dishes.

. Experience in Western or international cuisine will be an added advantage.

. Good knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.

. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

. Good teamwork and communication skills.

. Strong attention to food hygiene and cleanliness.

. Possess Food Safety Certification preferred.
