Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and supporting corrective maintenance activities within the terminal. The role ensures that all equipment and systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance for jetty and tank farm equipment.

- Perform initial assessments and support corrective maintenance during equipment faults or breakdowns.

- Respond promptly to emergency repair situations to minimize downtime.

- Coordinate with external vendors for on-site maintenance and servicing activities.

- Maintain and update preventive maintenance schedules and spare parts inventory records regularly.

- Conduct functional testing of interlock and alarm systems to ensure process safety.

- Perform routine inspections to identify abnormalities in operational areas.

- Monitor equipment performance through temperature and vibration checks.

- Inspect, maintain, and repair lighting systems within the terminal.

- Ensure fire protection equipment is properly maintained and operational.

- Follow up on maintenance requests raised by operations and ensure timely closure.

Training & Certification Requirements

- Minimum GCE O-Level or ITE certification,or

- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the petroleum storage or related industry.
