Maintenance Technician

Responsibility:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines, including lubrication, alignment, and calibration.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of CNC machines.
• Inspect and adjust machine components such as ball screws, spindles, turrets, and tool holders.
• Replace worn or damaged parts, including gears, belts, hoses, and seals.
• Diagnose and resolve control system alarms and electrical issues, including PLCs and amplifier components.
• Maintain machine accuracy by checking alignments, backlash, and deviations.
• Ensure proper functioning of cooling and lubrication systems.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize machine downtime and improve operational efficiency.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collect the daily maintenance checklists completed by operators from the production team each month and maintain proper records.

Requirement:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering with 2 years relevant experience or 5 years relevant experience.
• Proven experience in CNC machine maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with CNC controls (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, etc.) is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
