Responsibilities:
- Attend joint inspections with tenants contractors for fitting-out and reinstatement works.
- Carry out basic building maintenance works, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
- Perform kitchen hood filter chemical servicing for speciality restaurant units.
- Inspect common areas and tenant premises within the shopping centre as required.
- Record and update daily maintenance logs, as well as weekly and monthly inspection reports.
- Identify and attend to building defects such as power failures, water leakages, and air-conditioning issues.
- Inspect and maintain firefighting and fire protection systems, including fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, and dry risers.
- Attend to repair and maintenance requests from superior landlord representatives for building services.
- Support night-shift maintenance works, including replacement works such as KWP.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
- Source and requisition necessary spare parts and materials for repair and maintenance works.
- Comply with workplace health and safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in facilities or building maintenance within a commercial building
- Minimum Nitec in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Air Conditioning or equivalent
- Good understanding of building maintenance operations and M&E systems.
- Hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing and sanitary works, building maintenance, and/or ACMV systems.
- Ability to support and handle basic audio-visual systems.
- Pleasant disposition with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime and support night-shift maintenance works when required
